# 01/26 Market overview

The cryptocurrency market continues to fall, with BTC falling as low as $86,000, now at $87,569.52, down 1.6% in 24h and 6.5% in 7d. ETH meanwhile fell as low as $2,785, down 2.4% in 24h and 12.4% in 7d. Gold on the other hand has risen instead to a new record high again, breaking past [$5,000](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/pax-gold)/oz.
