# US Senate passes GENIUS Act

The US Senate has voted to pass the GENIUS Act (Global Ensured Net-backed Issuance for US-stablecoins). This new regulation requires stablecoin issuers to back their stablecoins with high quality liquid assets like US dollars and short term treasuries, and to disclose their reserve monthly.

You can now purchase major stablecoins such as USDT, USDC, DAI via Tokenlon, with stablecoin to stablecoin conversion fees as low as 0.04%. Meanwhile, BTC is now at $104,870, down 2.1% in 24h. ETH is at $2,526.71, down 2.1% in 24h as well.
