The market interpreted the basic consensus reached during the China-US consultations in Kuala Lumpur as a de-escalation of the trade war, leading to a broad rally in the cryptocurrency market.

BTC is now at $115,429, up 3.5% in 24h. ETH is now at $4,197.98, up 6.9% in 24h. The DeFi sector also bounced significantly, with UNI now at $6.83, up 10.4%, and AAVE at $243.29, up 8.4%.
