The US customs announced on 11th April announced that due to a system error, the 125% tariff on Chinese products scheduled to take effect on 2nd April has been temporarily suspended. Meanwhile, the US granted conditional tariff exemptions for communications equipment, computers, mobile phones, semiconductors and integrated circuits from China.
With this, the US financial and cryptocurrency markets have seen a weekend rebound. Based on CoinGecko market data, BTC is now at $84,379.65, up 7.6% in 7d. ETH is at $1,617.82, up 2.9% in 7d.
