# 08/07 Market overview

The market went through a steep drop on August 5th, with that DEXs and CEXs created new highs in trading volumes. Binance had the [highest daily trading volume](https://twitter.com/_RichardTeng/status/1820792517069332991) in 2024, while DEX as a whole had a trading volume of [$20.2 billion](https://www.binance.com/en/square/post/2024-08-06-202-11807362184378), the third highest recorded. Tokenlon’s daily volume also made a new high at $66,147,867.

BTC spot ETF had a net outflow of $148.56m yesterday, now at $57,252.20, up 2.6% in 24h. ETH spot ETF meanwhile had a net outflow of $11.59m, now at $2.523.65, up 0.5% in 24h.
