# 06/06 Market Overview: SEC Sues Binance ,BTC & ETH falls below $26,000 and $1,800

Based on CoinGecko statistics, BTC and ETH fell 4.2% and 5.2% respectively, with BTC falling to $25,443.92, with a current price of $25,644.67. Meanwhile, ETH fell to $1,794.14, and the current price is $1,805.61.

The SEC accuses Binance of illegally soliciting American investors to purchase, sell, and trade cryptocurrencies, as well as offering earnings e.g. BNB Vault, Simple Earn, and staking programmes. The SEC also accuses Binance of intentionally evading US regulations.

Binance is charged with selling tokens as securities, including BNB, BUSD, SOL, ADA, MATIC, FIL, ATOM, SAND, MANA, ALGO, AXS, COTI. Tokens with large market caps such as BTC, ETH, LTC and USDT are not included in the list.
