# 04/12 Market Update: BTC & ETH drops below $40,000 and $3,000 respectively

According to12th April data from CoinGecko, BTC and ETH both experienced a significant drop of 6.1% and 6.9% respectively in the last 24 hours. BTC is now at $39,729 and ETH dropped below $3,000 and is now at $2,986.
