# Please claim your genesis airdrop LON

To the Tokenlon community,

A total of 15,000,000 LON was allocated for retroactive airdrops to early supporters in the LON Giveback Program on December 23, 2020. As of now, nearly 10 million LON remains unclaimed in the Merkle Redeem contract.

The governance proposal TIP39, ‘Transfer Unclaimed LON Tokens from Genesis Phase to Community Treasury’ has been approved. Airdrop claims will cease on 18 March 2024. After this date, unclaimed tokens will be transferred to the Tokenlon community treasury for various ecosystem development incentives.

If you’re eligible for the LON airdrop but have not claimed your LON, please visit ‘LON DApp’ to claim your airdrop as soon as possible.
